Alfie performs at comedy clubs across the UK and is a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe. After his 2024 debut, which transferred to Soho Theatre, he returned with his acclaimed show My Apologies to the Chef in 2025. He appeared in the BBC New Comedy Awards on BBC 3, won the 2022 Max Turner Prize, and was a finalist for several other new act awards. He also hosts the award-winning Comedy Bandits show in Clapham, London.

Alfie is a resident MC at Comedy Bandits, which happens every Monday and Wednesday at The Railway Tavern in Clapham. It features a mix of new and pro acts trying jokes out in a fun and laid-back way. It has been called the 'best open mic in London' four years running (Chortle Awards 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026). The club also runs monthly pro shows.

Alfie has written for The Guardian since 2016. He was a commissioning editor on the education desk before joining the 'community' team in early 2021, where his job is to interview interesting people and to edit content sent in by readers.
He also writes features for other sections of the paper.
